Katy Perry is a Big Jesus Whore

Katy Perry called LadyGaga's video "Blasphemous" & "Cheap" for using catholic imagedry... really Katy? So your new video where you're wearing booty shorts and whipcream shoots out of your nipples is Okay by Jesus?? Russell Brand! Get your balls back and put them in Katy's mouth where they belong!

(And I like Katy Perry, but this statement and point of view are just ignorant and hypocritical.)

  1. Uh, wow. Not only do you use "balls" to mean "courage" -- not sexist at all, eh? -- but you think that male body parts should be shoved into women's mouths to shut them up.

Vomit. I'm sure you think you're "progressive," too.

  2. Correct madam. "Balls" does mean a type of courage or exhibiting ones self dominance. If you choose to ignore slang as a part of the language then you are ignoring modern day society and what words mean to today's culture. And it is not sexist for me (a woman) to say that Russell Brand needs to shove his dick in her mouth, it's funny AND a social commentary because they are a public couple and if he has being a whiny idiot I would tell Katy to shove one of her body parts in his mouth as well. Im an equal opportunity offender.

  3. Oh and P.S. - Dear "Anonymous" - Since you didn't have the "balls" to post your real name on here, please consider my last message as me placing my metaphoric dick in your mouth as i shut you the fuck up. END SCENE.

  4. And it is not sexist for me (a woman)

    Because women can't be misogynists.

Thanks for your final reply. Enjoy your "edgy" blog. I'm sure you'll get lots of male fans who'll pat you on the head for playing a nice, compliant little fucktoy for them. Too bad you can't grasp hatred for women unless it wears a cassock.

  5. Ah still Anonymous I see. Let me guess, you are the same person who goes and "speaks out"against Yellow Thunder Woman (from The Bastard Fairies) as well? Hmm... Who are you speaking out for or against exactly? For other women? Are you some sort of Feminist women-hating women protector? Very confused with your role in life I see and feel powerless and insecure so you feel the need to try use your vocabulary to put "wrong-doers" in their place. Oh and "cassock", wow. Did you pull that out of the Catholic Terms Dictionary? Even practicing Catholics don't know that one.

Sorry not a misogynist and definitely not compliant. Do I sound compliant? Just a hard working, honest, creative, independent and funny young woman that you feel threatened by. Sorry that you have no sense of humor and are obtuse. You must have a sad, boring, little life.

How about you go be a productive member of society and go do something with your life. You care so much about women...why don't you go volunteer your time at a women's shelter or do something to actually help women's rights and stop abuse or real hatred against women. Not ME making a joke about Katy Perry who was Hating on another woman (debatable), Lady GaGa.

And I hope you do. Meanwhile, I wrote a song for people like you. It's called "The Music Made Me Do It". So excuse me while I step over you.

  6. Maybe the anonymous would get more serious consideration if they:

    1. Presented their own views, in turn, with a mature and balanced tone.
    2. Understood the art of hyperbole and/or satire.
    3. Weren't anonymous.

    I have an idea.

Let's all write hatemail to Jonathan Swift.

To hell with the full context, such as his background and rock-solid representation, baby-eating is not funny.

Or did the full context somehow justify him in using highly offensive concepts and imagery to get a serious message across?

Oh, shit, memetics have more grey area than one might think ...

  7. Anonymous, I think you will find that you are the only one attacking and hating women, as GV made her comments with obvious humor and your posts obviously lack any sense of humor.

Hypocritical is a word you may want to look up, you obviously have a lot of hate for so many people and obviously a feminist, you know what the opposite of a feminist is - a male chauvinist. You are the female equivalent of a male chauvinist. Hmmm good luck with that one!!!

  8. Anonymous and Katy may be suffering from the same blindness... with lines like "change your mind like a girl changes clothes" and "PMS like a Bitch", all set to an upbeat melody... that is the most insidious kind of sexism/misogyny, promoting contempt and insecurity of women in popular culture.

"Oh, let's all (girls) be stupid and giddy".

Get your head out of your ass, Anon., and choose your battles more carefully. Maybe you'll learn something from all this and the world can be a little bit better for it.

  9. The opposite of misogyny is misandry and is apparently the funniest thing since clown rape.

Feminism is simply the focused ideal that people born with vaginas should live with equal respect and opportunity as those born with penises. Man-hating feminists are missing the fundamental point: it's about making people equal regardless of arbitrary sex roles assigned superfluously at birth.

Unfortunately as time flies we find that it's not even that simple when issues such as chromosomes, gender fluidity, role-switching, cultural appropriation and so forth are taken into account. This, not an achievement of equality, (which hasn't happened), is what renders feminism somewhat obsolete.

Maybe people should just be treated with equal opportunity and respect full stop. OooOOOoooOOo.

  10. Interesting post, the more I see Katy Perry's music videos and appearances, the more I find that she is just another dime-a-dozen sell-out attention whore; also, have you ever looked at her upper arms? They are freakishly small, like anorexic looking, really, Katy, setting a fine example there for other aspiring actresses, go bulemic or go home. Compare Katy Perry with Amy Lee of Evanescence, there's a stark contrast there, Amy has morals, can do without attention, doesn't use her 'sex' to become more popular, and actually puts feeling into her songs, and yet, she Amy and Evanescence is less popular than Katy Perry?!

Ahhh. Had to get that off my chest, Katy Perry disgusts me, although I will admit that I do like her voice style, like in California Gurls, but that's it.

PS- Yes women can be misogynistic, I've seen a load of them in my lifetime. Oh that was a pretty old argument huh, lol, oh well.
